Job Description
Tsebo Solutions Group is recruiting for a Catering Manager to oversee all food service-related activities. The successful candidate will manage the kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring compliance with Tsebo’s grading standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for managing the catering unit.
- Set and manage service delivery standards and ensure quality in food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the kitchen team.
- Implement operational controls within budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Manage daily HR and IR issues, including staff training, performance management, and development.
- Proactively address client needs and complaints.
- Oversee all catering functions, including preparation and coordination.
- Handle administration, finances, debtors, budgets, and P&L reports.
- Build strong client and customer relationships.
- Work long hours and weekends as required.
- Stay updated on food trends and best practices.

- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Attention to detail and client service-oriented
- Strong business management knowledge
- Fully computer literate
- Excellent food knowledge and culinary skills
Qualifications
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in catering management
- Own vehicle (advantageous)
