Key Responsibilities of a Technician

As a Technician at AFGRI, you will play an important role in keeping agricultural operations running smoothly by providing reliable maintenance and repair services.

Equipment Maintenance and Repairs

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on tractors and other agricultural equipment.

  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure machinery is operating effectively.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job cards for every repair completed.

Customer Service and Support

  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships.

  • Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints, ensuring resolution within prescribed turnaround times.

Safety and Compliance

  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring protective equipment is worn at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • N2 Qualified Technician certificate (minimum requirement).

Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, excluding apprenticeship training.

Technical Competencies

  • Valid driver’s licence.

  • Strong product knowledge in repair and maintenance of tractors and agricultural equipment.

  • Good timekeeping and ability to manage workloads efficiently.

  • Clear and professional communication skills.
