Key Responsibilities
As a Till Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Cash and Till Management
Ensuring that all money is accounted for, balancing tills daily, and overseeing secure processing of voids and refunds. -
Supervising Cashiers
Managing rosters, scheduling lunch and tea breaks, and ensuring tills are always manned efficiently. -
Transaction Accuracy
Verifying that all goods are scanned and rung up correctly while monitoring promotions and discounts. -
Customer Service
Assisting customers with queries, providing accurate information on products such as fruits and vegetables, and ensuring checkout points remain clean and hygienic. -
Compliance and Standards
Ensuring that cashiers follow operating procedures and maintain a high standard of professionalism. -

Job Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Matric certificate (Grade 12).

Previous experience as a Cashier or Till Controller.

Reside within 25 km of Soneike, Western Cape.

Clear criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, candidates with the following will have an advantage:

Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Till Supervisor.

Proven leadership experience as a team leader, supervisor, or manager.

Knowledge of balancing and reconciling cash.
