Overview
Fidelity Services Group, one of South Africa’s leading integrated security companies, is hiring Security Officers (Grade C/B/A) for its Philippi Branch in Cape Town, Western Cape. This permanent role is ideal for candidates with proven residential or hospitality security experience who are committed to safeguarding people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will carry out a full range of professional security duties, including:

Access & Exit Control: Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.

Patrolling & Safeguarding: Conduct routine foot patrols to maintain a visible security presence and deter potential threats.

Incident & Report Writing: Record daily occurrences, unusual activities, and incidents accurately for internal records.
-
Compliance & Registers: Complete all required registers and documentation in line with company policies and PSIRA standards.

Standard Operational Duties: Perform all functions as outlined in Fidelity training, maintaining a high level of discipline and alertness.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

Education: Minimum Grade 10 (Matric advantageous).

PSIRA Accreditation: Valid Grade C, B, or A registration.

Experience: At least 2 years in the security industry, with hospitality or residential estate security experience mandatory.

Background Checks: No criminal record and willingness to undergo regular background and criminal checks.

Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform all security duties effectively.

Location: Must currently reside in the Cape Town area where the position is advertised.
