- Ensure storage logic follows warehouse organisational layouts,
- Assist in maintaining a well-structured inventory space for quick retrieval.
3. Register and Documentation Control
Warehouse accuracy is a major responsibility. Duties include:
- Recording all newly received stock in the appropriate registers,
- Ensuring all warehouse documents are signed off by the Chief Warehouseman,
- Ensuring records are kept compliant with Defence logistics standards.
4. Dispatching Stock and Materials
Stock leaving the warehouse must also be reflected accurately. That includes:
- Preparing stock for dispatch,
- Recording all outgoing equipment in the official register,
- Ensuring the receiving individual signs for issued items,
- Supporting accountability and audit compliance.
5. Maintaining a Clean and Organised Warehouse
