Position Overview

The Graduate – Building Maintenance Coordination is part of Growthpoint’s Graduate Programme 2026 in Facilities Management. This 11-month programme provides ambitious graduates with real responsibilities, mentorship, and exposure to South Africa’s leading property portfolio. Participants will gain hands-on experience in building maintenance, property operations, and strategic project management.

The programme is designed to empower graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment, build meaningful networks, and develop practical skills for a successful career in the property industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support building maintenance operations across Growthpoint’s portfolio.
  • Solve real-world operational challenges with an analytical and proactive approach.
  • Prepare business reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support strategic implementation of maintenance projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless property operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in facilities management.
  • Engage in mentorship and structured learning programmes to accelerate professional development.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, events, and training sessions.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Building Sciences, or Construction Management.
  • Academic record must be attached when applying.
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and time effectively.
