Position Overview
The Short-Term Administrative Assistant (FN 01) role is suited to a highly experienced, FAIS-accredited administrative professional with a strong background in short-term insurance operations.
This position plays a critical role in supporting administrative, compliance, and client service functions while ensuring adherence to FSCA and FAIS regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibi
- Providing comprehensive administrative support within the finance and insurance environment
- Managing documentation and records in line with FSCA and FAIS compliance standards
- Supporting short-term insurance functions including personal lines, commercial, claims, and client administration
- Ensuring accurate processing of policies, amendments, and client records
- Liaising professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
- Handling complex administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity at all times
Minimum Requirements
- RE5 Certificate (compulsory)
- Fully FSCA-approved qualification to render advisory and intermediary services
- FAIS-accredited NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification in:
- Short-Term Insurance
- Marketing
- Business Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the short-term insurance industry
- Strong experience across:
- Personal lines
- Commercial insurance
- Claims handling
- Administration and client service
- Fully computer literate with strong knowledge of administrative systems
