Position Overview

Crocs East Point is seeking a Store Manager to lead and manage all store operations, sales, and merchandising. The successful candidate will ensure the store meets sales targets, maintains operational efficiency, and delivers an outstanding customer experience in line with Crocs’ purpose, vision, and values.

This role is ideal for an experienced retail leader with a proven track record in sales growth, team management, and store operations within a high-volume retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Maximise store sales by driving conversion rates and achieving gross margin targets
  • Set, communicate, and monitor daily sales targets for all team members, including casual staff
  • Focus team efforts on cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with podiatrists, gyms, and running clubs to generate sales opportunities
  • Grow and maintain the Rewards program database
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all customer orders
  • Achieve excellent customer satisfaction and brand loyalty

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, recruit, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional sales and service
  • Conduct daily team meetings and allocate tasks effectively
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members on a monthly basis
  • Ensure completion of Rookie Pack training, customer service, tech, sales, and loss prevention modules
  • Oversee team adherence to uniform standards, lanyards, and tech apparel
  • Manage staff rostering and ensure operational coverage

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Minimise stock shrinkage and maintain accurate POS records
  • Conduct quarterly stock counts and execute markdowns as required
  • Process deliveries immediately, checking quantities, tagging, hanging, pricing, and recording in POS
  • Ensure storeroom organisation for efficient floor replenishment
  • Run and action daily inventory and stock status reports
  • Complete weekly Open to Buy (OTB) processes to optimise stock levels

Operations & Store Management

  • Ensure store visual merchandising and window displays comply with Crocs standards
  • Maintain store cleanliness, functioning lighting, appropriate music, and clear change rooms
  • Open and close the store according to operational procedures
  • Reconcile cash, complete end-of-day banking, and manage controllable expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and operational procedures

Reporting & Month-End Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly sales reports, budget variance analyses, and stock receipt reports
  • Complete Return to Supplier (RTS) and other month-end operational reports
  • Ensure store performance metrics are accurately tracked and reported to the Regional Brand Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar retail management role
  • Proven sales leadership ability in retail operations
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Valid Driver’s Licence; own vehicle advantageous
