Position Overview
HomeChoice is currently hiring a 4hr Flexi Sales Associate for the Twin City Mall Showroom in Bloemfontein, Free State.
The successful candidate will play an important role in driving showroom sales performance by engaging customers, demonstrating products, and guiding them through the purchasing process. The position focuses on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring sales targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
- Convert showroom visitors into customers through effective product demonstrations and sales techniques
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable homeware products
- Clearly communicate pricing, promotions, and product features
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance goals
Customer Journey Management
- Manage the complete customer purchasing journey, from account opening to order completion
- Accurately capture customer orders and supporting documentation
- Assist customers with payments, refunds, and credit processing
Sales Activations and Community Engagement
- Lead sales activation campaigns in nearby communities to attract new customers
- Increase showroom foot traffic and revenue opportunities
- Promote HomeChoice products and promotional offers
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment
- Ensure displays and merchandising meet company standards
- Assist with housekeeping and day-to-day store operations
Administration and Reporting
- Complete all sales administration and reporting tasks accurately and on time
- Maintain up-to-date sales records and performance metrics
- Provide WFS feedback to support store improvements and operational efficiency
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this Retail Sales Associate job in Bloemfontein, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 1 year retail experience
- Clear criminal and ITC record
- Must not be debarred or declared not fit and proper under the FAIS Act
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience within the homeware retail industry will be advantageous
