Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Carers to join our facilities at Tokai Estate and Cle Du Cap.

Carers will be responsible for delivering personalised care, supporting residents in their daily living activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety in alignment with individual care plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene: bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement in daily activities, including walks, meals, and recreational activities
  • Chart all resident interactions and care activities on the Healthware system using a company-provided cellphone
  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes or concerns to senior staff promptly
  • Comply with infection control, health, and safety protocols
  • Participate in rotational camera watch duties during night shifts to ensure resident safety
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Minimum Requirements

  • Acknowledged Carer training from a reputable organisation (advantageous)
  • SETA accreditation is an advantage
  • Proven experience as a Carer or in a similar healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of aged care principles, including dementia care, palliative care, and rehabilitative care
  • Clear health, criminal, and credit records
  • Contactable professional references

Working Hours and Compensation

  • 16.25 shifts per month
  • Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:00
  • Night shifts: 19:00 – 07:00 (includes night shift allowance)
  • Competitive basic salary plus:
    • Sundays work pay
    • Public holiday pay
    • Quarterly performance bonuses
    • Additional shifts worked receive allowances
