Position Overview
Trinityhouse is seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 0000 Teacher to join its Randpark Ridge Pre-Primary campus in Randburg.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) education that prepares young learners for formal schooling. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that promotes each child’s personal, physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Deliver future-focused early childhood education aligned with curriculum standards
- Inspire and motivate young learners through engaging classroom activities
- Encourage creativity, exploration, and independent learning
Academic Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct continuous student assessments and performance monitoring
- Provide accurate progress reports to parents and guardians
- Track developmental milestones for each learner
Student Behaviour Management
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Guide children in developing social and emotional skills
- Implement strategies that encourage positive behaviour and cooperation
School Brand Ambassadorship
- Represent the values and reputation of Trinityhouse
- Promote a strong culture of academic excellence and holistic development
Administration
- Maintain accurate academic records and lesson plans
- Complete all required school administrative tasks
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with school safety procedures and child protection policies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment
Minimum Requirements
Candidates interested in this Early Childhood Development teaching job in Randburg should meet the following criteria:
- Post Matric Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Early Childhood Development (ECD) – Minimum requirement
- OR Undergraduate Degree (NQF Level 6) in ECD or B.Ed Foundation Phase
- PGCE qualification required if the degree is in a related field such as Psychology
- SACE registration – Mandatory
- Police clearance certificate
- 2–5 years teaching experience in early childhood or pre-primary education
- Computer and digital literacy
- First Aid certification
