Position Overview

VKB Group is currently recruiting a Marketing Agent for Qpro Feeds based in Bethlehem, Free State.

The successful candidate will manage designated client accounts and expand the sales volume and product range within the assigned territory. This role focuses on strategic sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and positioning Qpro Feeds as a trusted livestock nutrition brand.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive growth in sales across the Qpro Feeds product portfolio.
  • Identify new customers and expand the company’s client base.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to increase market share.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses.
  • Provide regular feedback to customers regarding product deliveries and account updates.
  • Deliver innovative solutions to strengthen customer partnerships.

Market Development

  • Identify market opportunities, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
  • Participate in agricultural trade shows, farmer days, and industry events.

Account Management

  • Manage customer accounts including product portfolio management, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Forecast product demand for each account to ensure stock availability and efficient procurement planning.

Internal Collaboration

  • Maintain effective communication between internal teams, branches, and customers.
  • Work closely with internal departments to deliver high-quality service and product support.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4).
  • Valid Code 08 / EB Driver’s License.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in agriculture.
  • Demonstrated success in the agricultural environment, ideally within animal feed or livestock production sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Computer literacy and administrative competence.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (B Agric) or BSc Agriculture.
  • Technical knowledge of animal nutrition and feed formulation.
  • Previous experience in animal feed marketing or livestock production industries.
