The Western Cape Region is currently recruiting a skilled Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to manage dealership finance operations and provide tailored financial solutions to customers.

Position Overview

The Finance and Insurance Manager will oversee all activities within the dealership’s finance and insurance department, ensuring customers receive the best available vehicle financing and insurance options.

This role is responsible for managing financing applications, selling insurance products, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and dealership policies.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maximizing dealership profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Insurance Sales

  • Provide customers with vehicle financing solutions
  • Sell insurance products and value-added services
  • Generate additional dealership revenue through finance and insurance products
  • Recommend suitable financial products based on customer needs

Customer Financial Advisory

  • Review and analyse customer credit reports
  • Educate customers on available financing and insurance options
  • Provide professional advice to help customers make informed financial decisions

Financial Application Processing

  • Process vehicle financing applications accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and financial regulations
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for financing approvals

Compliance & Regulatory Governance

  • Ensure all finance and insurance activities comply with South African financial regulations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting the automotive finance sector

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lenders
  • Build strong internal relationships with dealership sales teams
  • Support customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process

Team Leadership & Development

  • Train and supervise finance and insurance department staff
  • Ensure team members provide excellent customer service
  • Promote continuous professional development within the department

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an automotive finance and insurance role
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle finance products and insurance solutions
  • Experience working within the automotive dealership environment
