The IMFRG Silverlakes dealership in Pretoria is currently looking for a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Executive to join its dynamic sales team and support the growth of its used vehicle sales operations.


Position Overview

The Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Executive will be responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles while ensuring all sales transactions are processed accurately and efficiently according to company procedures.

This role requires a sales-driven professional who can build strong customer relationships, generate leads, negotiate sales, and deliver excellent service throughout the vehicle buying journey.

Successful candidates will contribute to dealership revenue by meeting sales targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Sell pre-owned vehicles in line with dealership sales targets
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
  • Negotiate pricing and finalise vehicle sales agreements
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Follow up with customers after sales to ensure excellent service delivery

Lead Generation & Marketing

  • Process all incoming sales leads and enquiries
  • Actively pursue new customers to increase vehicle sales
  • Support marketing campaigns aimed at increasing vehicle sales performance
  • Contribute to dealership promotional activities and campaigns

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Provide advice and guidance to customers during the vehicle purchase process
  • Maintain high levels of customer service excellence
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all transactions comply with dealership policies
  • Adhere to legal requirements including:
    • Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)
    • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
    • Consumer Protection Act (South Africa)
  • Ensure governance and compliance standards are always maintained

Reporting & Operational Support

  • Report on transactional activities to assist management decision-making
  • Identify operational issues and escalate unresolved problems
  • Ensure work is executed according to service level agreements and company procedures

Financial Accountability

  • Execute work tasks efficiently to prevent financial losses
  • Ensure accurate processing of sales transactions and related documentation

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • 3–5 years’ working experience in a similar sales environment
  • Valid South African Driver’s Licence
