Position Overview

This 24hr Flexi Sales Associate job in Komani (Queenstown) is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy working with customers and driving sales. You will be responsible for converting showroom visitors into paying customers through engaging product demonstrations and exceptional service.

The role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for retail sales, customer experience, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales by converting showroom visitors into customers
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and highlight key features
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
  • Clearly explain pricing, promotions, and offers

Customer Journey Management

  • Manage the full customer journey from account opening to order processing
  • Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently
  • Process payments, refunds, and credits accurately

Sales Activation & Growth

  • Lead sales activations in surrounding areas to attract new customers
  • Increase foot traffic and boost showroom revenue
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets

Store Operations & Administration

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks accurately and on time
  • Ensure all transactions and documentation meet quality standards

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide feedback (WFS) to improve store processes
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and sales performance

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Minimum Required)

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements

  • Clear criminal and ITC record (mandatory)
  • Must not be debarred in terms of the FAIS Act
  • Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Experience in homeware retail (advantageous)
