Position Overview: Locum Sepedi Teacher Job in Centurion
ADvTECH is seeking a Locum Teacher: Sepedi to join the Trinityhouse Centurion Preparatory team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality language education while inspiring learners and supporting their academic development in the Intersen Phase.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Deliver engaging and future-focused Sepedi lessons
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve academic excellence
- Foster critical thinking and independent learning
Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct assessments and provide accurate academic feedback
- Monitor learner progress and maintain detailed records
Student Behaviour Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
- Encourage respect, responsibility, and collaboration among learners
School Brand Ambassadorship
- Represent the Trinityhouse brand professionally
- Uphold the values and standards of the school
Administration & Communication
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative duties
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues
- Build strong relationships within the school community
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment
Minimum Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6)
- PGCE or Bachelor of Education (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase)
- SACE certification (mandatory)
- Police clearance
- 2–5 years teaching experience
- Computer and digital literacy
- First Aid certification
