Position Overview
The Salesperson / 2IC (Second-in-Charge) role at Midas Edenvale is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in automotive sales jobs in Gauteng.
This position supports the Retail Manager in driving sales performance, managing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in achieving branch profitability, managing counter sales, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Retail Manager in overseeing daily branch operations
- Drive sales performance and consistently exceed sales targets
- Manage counter sales and ensure optimal customer engagement
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and provide quotations
- Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities
- Monitor competitor pricing and market activity
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company regulations
- Assist with HR and IR-related matters within the branch
- Supervise and motivate warehouse and sales support staff
- Maintain high-quality service standards and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with departments such as Accounts, Dispatch, and Warehousing
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma in Business Management or Marketing (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in automotive parts sales or spares sales
- Supervisory experience (essential)
- Strong product knowledge in vehicle parts and accessories
- Proven sales track record
- Valid clear criminal record
