Position Overview
The Senior Store Manager will oversee the entire operation of the Koeberg Road Pedros restaurant, ensuring quality standards, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role is responsible for team leadership, stock and inventory management, customer service excellence, and achieving sales and gross profit targets.
The ideal candidate has strong managerial experience in the fast-food or restaurant sector, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee overall daily operations of the restaurant/take-away
- Ensure Pedros Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards are maintained
- Manage stock control, purchasing, and inventory efficiently
- Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are properly conducted
- Handle customer complaints and maintain high customer service levels
Financial and Sales Performance
- Maximise profitability and achieve sales and GP% targets
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and report on store financial performance
Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure high productivity and performance
- Lead structured staff meetings and staff development programs
- Manage work rosters, discipline, and staff evaluations
- Motivate and coach the team to achieve operational and financial goals
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive store performance
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience in restaurant or fast-food service
- Knowledge of Micros POS system – Advantageous
- Strong management, organizational, and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
