Position Overview: Soft Services Manager
CBRE Excellerate is recruiting a Soft Services Manager in Lagos to oversee all non-technical (soft) services within a high-performance environment such as a data centre or corporate facility.

You will lead service delivery across cleaning, landscaping, catering, and related services while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Soft Services Operations
- Manage cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and vending services
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and operational efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure SLA and MSA compliance
- Oversee proper waste disposal and environmental practices
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage third-party service providers and contracts
- Monitor KPIs and performance standards
- Conduct audits and resolve service delivery issues
Client Liaison & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding soft services
- Handle feedback, queries, and escalations effectively
- Support audits, inspections, and client site visits
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Conduct risk assessments for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain incident and compliance reporting
Planning & Maintenance Coordination
- Support planning of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive work
- Ensure all work schedules and RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are submitted on time
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Maintain accurate service records and contractor performance data
- Prepare monthly operational and performance reports
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in soft services or facilities management
- Proven experience managing:
- Cleaning services
- Landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Waste management and vending services
- Experience working in:
- Data centres
- Corporate environments
- Mission-critical facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in:
- Facilities Management
- Property Services
- Or a related field
- Certifications in:
- Cleaning operations
- Chemical handling
- Equipment usage
- Experience with soft service platforms and systems
