Position Overview
The Beauty Consultant – Chanel SAB at Canal Walk is responsible for driving sales performance while delivering a luxurious and personalised client experience. This role focuses on maintaining brand standards, building strong client relationships, and enhancing Chanel’s brand image within a high-end retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve Sales Targets
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Track individual and counter performance
- Drive sales through active selling and customer engagement
- Support and execute promotional and counter events
- Provide feedback on sales performance and challenges
Brand Management
- Maintain high grooming and uniform standards aligned with brand image
- Monitor competitor activity and in-store brand ranking
- Ensure merchandising standards are consistently implemented
- Track stock levels and tester ratios, reporting shortages
- Maintain excellent hygiene and presentation standards at the counter
Client Experience
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and loyalty
- Grow the customer database by attracting new clients
- Promote brand awareness through professional engagement
Administration
- Complete daily tracking sheets and weekly reports
- Maintain accurate client records and update client cards
- Ensure all documentation is submitted on time
Teamwork
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets
- Support new team members with onboarding and training
- Build strong relationships with retail partners
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Previous retail experience
- Skincare or cosmetics experience is advantageous
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
