Position Overview
The Picker at VKB Distribution Centre in Bethlehem will be responsible for accurate picking, checking, packing, and dispatching of stock. The role ensures smooth warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of stock control, organisation, and safety.
This position requires attention to detail, physical handling of products up to 15kg, and occasional operation of forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, check, and pack stock accurately
- Receive and dispatch stock according to procedures
- Maintain stock control and accurate inventory records
- Operate forklift where necessary (forklift licence advantageous)
- Manual handling of products (up to 15kg)
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
- Follow safety standards and company protocols
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF 4
- At least 1-year experience in a similar role
- Forklift licence advantageous
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
