Position Overview
The Invigilator (Part-Time) role is perfect for individuals seeking entry-level education jobs, part-time student jobs, or flexible academic support roles in Johannesburg.
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, fairness, and smooth running of examinations, while maintaining strict compliance with institutional policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Examination Supervision
- Monitor students during assessments to prevent malpractice
- Ensure all exam rules and conditions are strictly followed
- Maintain a calm and controlled exam environment
Administrative Duties
- Distribute exam papers and answer booklets
- Prepare examination venues according to requirements
- Provide clear instructions to students before and during exams
Student Support
- Assist students with queries during assessments
- Provide support during emergencies (e.g., illness or evacuations)
- Ensure student safety and well-being throughout the session
Reporting
- Compile and submit detailed reports after each session
- Record any incidents or irregularities during exams
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Higher Certificate or Diploma (advantageous)
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience
- No criminal record
