Position Overview

Motus Corporation is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Financial Manager – Multifranchise Roodepoort to join its dealership team in Gauteng.

This role is responsible for full financial control of the dealership, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and operational financial leadership. The position also includes HR and payroll oversight responsibilities, making it both strategic and operational in nature.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management Accounts

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements
  • Compile detailed management accounts including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Produce financial and operational performance reports
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data

Budgeting & Financial Control

  • Prepare dealership budgets in collaboration with departmental managers
  • Monitor and control operational expenses within approved budgets
  • Identify financial risks and escalate appropriately

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage daily cash flow and working capital requirements
  • Supervise cash handling and financial transaction control
  • Co-sign payments with Dealer Principal in line with policies

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory requirements
  • Implement internal controls and corporate governance policies
  • Oversee reconciliation of financial records and asset verification

Operational Finance & Analysis

  • Perform profit and loss analysis and financial trend interpretation
  • Identify cost-saving and revenue enhancement opportunities
  • Manage debtor and creditor processes effectively

HR & Payroll Administration (Dealership Level)

  • Oversee payroll input and HR administrative processes
  • Manage onboarding, employee movements, and terminations
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance management processes
  • Handle employee relations matters in collaboration with HR

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting (NQF Level 7 or higher)
  • 5+ years’ financial management or accounting experience
  • At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong experience in automotive retail industry (essential)
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, tax, financial reporting, and accounting systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)
