Position Overview

Pedros is currently hiring a Treasury Clerk to join its Finance Department in Newlands East. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their careers in corporate finance, treasury management, and banking operations.

The successful candidate will support treasury functions by managing payments, maintaining beneficiary records, and ensuring financial accuracy across corporate stores.


Key Responsibilities

  • Load all EFT payments on the Nedbank Business Banking Portal
  • Process Imali payments for corporate stores
  • Create and maintain beneficiary records on the banking platform
  • Prepare and send “Due Now” payment emails to the Financial Manager
  • Submit payment packs within required deadlines
  • Review payment submissions from Creditors Clerks and flag discrepancies
  • Provide backup support to the Accounts Payable Supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a treasury or finance role
  • Strong knowledge of the Nedbank Business Banking Portal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
