Position Overview
ADvTECH is seeking a Mathematics Teacher – Intersen Phase for Trinityhouse Little Falls Preparatory School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured Mathematics instruction to intermediate phase learners, building strong numeracy foundations and developing critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum requirements
- Build strong foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Support learners in developing abstract mathematical thinking
Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct continuous assessments and evaluations
- Provide accurate academic feedback and reporting
- Track learner progress and identify areas for support
Classroom & Behaviour Management
- Maintain a structured and positive learning environment
- Encourage learner participation and engagement
- Support student discipline and classroom management
School Representation
- Act as a professional ambassador for the school
- Build positive relationships with parents, learners, and colleagues
- Communicate effectively within the school community
Administration & Compliance
- Complete academic administration tasks accurately
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
- Support health and safety requirements
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Undergraduate Degree (NQF Level 6)
- PGCE or B.Ed (Intermediate / Intersen / Senior Phase)
- SACE Registration (mandatory)
Experience
- 2–5 years teaching experience (advantageous but not mandatory as listed)
Additional Requirements
- Police clearance certificate
- First Aid certification
- Computer and digital literacy
