Position Overview
Mr Price is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Studio Coordinator to support the Style Studio department in Durban. This role ensures the smooth coordination of sample management, product preparation, and digital content production for marketing and eCommerce platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with stylists, photographers, and retouchers to ensure high-quality visual content production aligned with business timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Sample & Product Coordination
- Source missing or required products from merchants, QA, or storage
- Manage sample check-in and check-out processes accurately
- Ensure all products are ready for image production timelines
- Maintain organised sample tracking systems
Studio Operations Support
- Work closely with stylists to ensure correct products are available
- Follow studio production schedules and traffic plans
- Ensure smooth sample flow for daily shoots
- Maintain an organised and efficient product area
Image & Content Management
- Ensure images are processed according to eCommerce specifications
- Verify item numbers and complete image sets before retouching
- Assist in uploading and managing digital assets on systems
- Support marketing campaign image verification and coordination
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of samples and product lifecycle tracking
- Ensure timely return of samples to merchandising teams
- Communicate discrepancies to relevant stakeholders
- Track and report pending images and production progress
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with stylists, photographers, retouchers, and traffic leads
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams
- Uphold brand standards and studio operational excellence
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma in Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field (advantageous)
- 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, coordination, or studio environment
- Experience in photography or creative studio environment preferred
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
