Position Overview
The Administrator: Bookings role at Mercedes-Benz Bryanston is a key administrative position responsible for managing all service booking processes within the dealership.
This role ensures that customer appointments are scheduled efficiently, service workflows are well-coordinated, and communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians is seamless.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, customer-focused, and able to handle a fast-paced, detail-driven environment while maintaining premium service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Booking & Appointment Management
- Respond to customer enquiries and schedule service appointments
- Manage bookings in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Handle rescheduling and cancellations when required
Customer Communication
- Provide customers with updates on vehicle status and service progress
- Ensure clear and professional communication at all times
- Maintain a strong customer service focus aligned with Mercedes-Benz standards
Service Department Coordination
- Work closely with service advisors and technicians to manage workflow
- Ensure appointments are efficiently scheduled to maximise workshop productivity
- Support smooth coordination between departments
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate booking records in the dealership database system
- Assist with administrative support for the service department
- Track and report key performance metrics (bookings and customer satisfaction)
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (High School Diploma or equivalent)
- Previous administrative experience (customer service or automotive environment preferred)
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office and database systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and service processes (advantageous)
