Position Overview
Auto Pedigree Kimberley is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Representative: Vehicles to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong sales ability, excellent customer engagement skills, and a passion for achieving targets in a competitive automotive sales environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the Auto Pedigree brand, generating vehicle sales, and building long-term customer relationships while meeting monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle sales targets
- Drive sales performance through active customer engagement
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Negotiate and close vehicle sales deals effectively
Customer Engagement
- Engage with customers in showroom and external environments
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
- Manage customer expectations to ensure excellent service delivery
- Handle customer queries and escalate issues where necessary
Product Knowledge & Demonstrations
- Maintain strong knowledge of vehicle features, capabilities, and specifications
- Accompany customers on test drives and ensure required documentation is completed
- Promote Auto Pedigree products and services effectively
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Assist with showroom setup and vehicle displays
- Manage sales documentation and compliance requirements
- Provide accurate feedback and reporting on sales activity
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Retain and grow existing customer base
- Implement strategies to drive continuous sales growth
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 2 years’ sales and customer service experience (with proven sales track record)
- Valid Code 08 (B) unendorsed driver’s licence
- Own reliable transport
- Computer literate
- Understanding of retail compliance (advantageous)
- Knowledge of local languages spoken in the area (advantageous)
- Automotive sales experience (desirable but not required)
