Position Overview
CBRE Excellerate is seeking an experienced MDP Lead to be based in Cairo, Egypt, on a contract basis. This senior leadership role operates at Director level and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of project and programme services across the Market.
The MDP Lead acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) within the Market, working closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure that all projects are delivered in line with Master and Local Service Agreements (MSA/LSA). The role ensures strong governance, risk management, sustainability, and value optimisation while aligning delivery outcomes with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the MDP Lead is to manage and govern the delivery of capital programmes and project services across the Market, ensuring consistency, compliance, and performance excellence.
The role focuses on effective project governance, stakeholder engagement, sustainability integration, and financial control to support client transformation initiatives and long-term portfolio objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Programme and Project Delivery
Manage the capital programme for the Market, ensuring alignment with client policies, industry standards, and risk management procedures
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and agreed timelines
Governance, Risk and Compliance
Maintain governance oversight across all projects, contracts, and vendors
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards, monitor performance, and address non-compliance
Lead Stage Gate Reviews and ensure adherence to internal procedures and governance frameworks
Sustainability and Value Management
Develop and implement sustainability plans across the capital programme
Embed supply chain efficiencies and lead vendor management initiatives
Monitor supplier performance to support client transformation and value optimisation
Quality and Performance Management
Develop and implement a quality control plan to ensure high-quality project delivery
Monitor project KPIs and lead internal and external performance assessments
Provide cost-saving recommendations and manage change requests effectively
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of the PM team
Manage stakeholder engagement across local and regional levels
Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and improvement opportunities
Oversee team performance to ensure successful and consistent project execution
Financial and Procurement Oversight
Manage capital programme budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control
Oversee procurement strategies and ensure contracts are fit for purpose
Manage supplier due diligence and ongoing contract performance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management and PMO leadership
Experience working with multinational corporations
Strong knowledge of project governance, contract management, budget control, and risk mitigation
Skills and Experience
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
Proven stakeholder management and communication capabilities
Ability to work autonomously in dynamic and non-standard working environments
Experience within the banking sector is preferred
