We are seeking a Temporary Administrator to join our team at Heritage Manor, Somerset West, to assist with administrative and stock management tasks supporting healthcare services.


Position Overview

This temporary role is ideal for detail-oriented, organised individuals with administrative experience in healthcare or related environments. You will assist with data capturing, stock management, and general administrative duties, ensuring accurate records and smooth daily operations within the healthcare department.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Capture and maintain healthcare-related data accurately within internal systems
  • Monitor, record, and maintain medical and healthcare stock levels
  • Assist with stock control processes, including counting, usage tracking, and reporting
  • Replenish healthcare stock and ensure records remain current
  • Maintain organised administrative documentation and filing systems
  • Support the healthcare team with scheduling, documentation, and coordination tasks
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in systems and spreadsheets
  • Communicate with internal teams to facilitate smooth workflows
  • Assist with general office duties, including document preparation and record management
  • Capture month-end billing information for accurate healthcare billing records
  • Conduct incontinent stock counts with the Clinic Manager and manage daily issuing of stock

Requirements

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification
  • Relevant administrative experience in healthcare, medical, or similar environments advantageous
  • Experience or interest in:
    • Data capturing and administrative record management
    • Stock control and inventory processes
    • Excel and spreadsheet management
    • General office software and systems

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Excel
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Independent, responsible, and reliable
