Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and skilled driver to join our team at BUCO Port Elizabeth Walker Drive. The driver will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods Delivery:
- Deliver goods to customers and ensure all deliveries are made on time.
- Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damage and breakages.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct daily inspection checks on the vehicle and report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Loading and Unloading:
- Supervise and assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring correct quantities and supplies are delivered.
- Cost Reduction:
- Implement measures to reduce costs associated with the vehicle.
- Documentation and Payments:
- Ensure delivery notes are authorized.
- Collect COD payments from customers when required.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during deliveries.

- Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Licensing:
- Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle); Code 8 (Light Vehicle) license required for vehicles ranging from 3501 kg to 9000 kg.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
