Job Description:
BUCO Plaza is seeking a General Assistant to join our team in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient service to customers and suppliers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard and store, and assisting with the safe loading and offloading of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation & Vehicle Assistance:
- Provide customers and drivers with accurately prepared orders.
- Assist with the prompt and efficient loading and offloading of vehicles.
- Customer & Supplier Support:
- Offer timely assistance to customers and suppliers with loading and offloading their vehicles.
- Support workshop and joinery tasks as required.
- Yard & Store Maintenance:
- Ensure that yard stock items are neatly packed and accessible.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles during loading.
- Accurately complete Wash Bay activities.
- Keep store shelves, boards, and other stock items neatly packed and accessible for customers.
- Company Values & Culture:
- Uphold and promote the company values and culture in all tasks and interactions.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic product knowledge relevant to the FMCG sector.
