Purpose of Position:
As the Store Manager, you will lead a dynamic team to achieve business KPIs, drive sales, control costs, reduce risks and stock loss, and ensure world-class store standards and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase Sales:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store image.
- Manage stock levels and promotional activities to maximize sales.
- Stock Loss Prevention:
- Cultivate a healthy store culture and follow security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
- Cost Management:
- Adhere to the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiencies in-store operations.
- Administration:
- Ensure that administrative duties are completed in line with company guidelines.
- Team Leadership:
- Train, coach, and manage the performance of your team to ensure success.
- Maintain high standards for health, safety, and housekeeping.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 is required. A degree/diploma in a business or retail-related field is advantageous.
- Experience: Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a retail leadership role.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Skills:
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is an advantage).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage a team effectively.
- Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
