Job Overview

WeBuyCars is looking for a Quality Controller to join their Operations Department and contribute to enhancing the overall operations of their Recon Centre. The role involves improving the quality of processed vehicles, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, and managing workflows to optimize service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve the overall quality of processed vehicles
• Ensure cohesion among all recon departments to deliver excellent service
• Manage the Recon Centre to maximize effectiveness
• Determine vehicle workflows based on vehicle condition
• Implement cost-saving measures in all operations
• Manage support staff teams to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transport
• Diploma in Warehousing or Logistics (Advantageous)
• At least 5 years of motor industry workshop experience (Advantageous)
• Willingness to work every second weekend and some public holidays

• Presentable appearance and sober habits

• No criminal record
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to train co-workers
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Experience with diagnostics equipment and ECU
