Key Responsibilities
✔ Customer Assistance – Provide expert advice on electrical and lighting products
✔ Sales Generation – Deliver excellent customer service to maximize sales and profitability
✔ Stock Control & Management – Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, and manage reorders
✔ Product Knowledge & Advice – Recommend the best electrical/lighting products to meet customer needs
✔ Merchandising & Pricing – Ensure correct display and pricing of products
✔ Administrative Duties – Maintain customer records, manage special orders, and process invoices
✔ Housekeeping & Maintenance – Keep the department clean and organized
✔ Stock Taking – Participate in perpetual stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy
✔ Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth department operations
Minimum Requirements
✔ Matric Certificate (or equivalent)
✔ 2+ years of experience in a hardware retail environment
✔ 2+ years of experience handling electrical/lighting products
✔ Brights Induction (Service Excellence Training) – Preferred
✔ Proven sales ability and natural sales flair
✔ Strong product knowledge of electrical and lighting items
✔ Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
✔ Ability to work independently and in a team
