AFGRI is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join its team as a Cleaning Supervisor in Bethal. Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric)

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be expected to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites within Bethal. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Cleaning Operations Management

  • Coordinate daily cleaning activities across all assigned locations

  • Allocate tasks to cleaning personnel and monitor execution

  • Ensure timely completion of cleaning assignments

2. Deep Cleaning and Specialised Cleaning Oversight

  • Plan and supervise deep-cleaning schedules

  • Manage the cleaning of high-priority areas such as washrooms, kitchens, and reception areas

  • Guarantee that deep cleaning meets hygiene and safety requirements

3. Staff Training and Development

  • Identify training needs of cleaning staff

  • Conduct induction and refresher training sessions on equipment use, chemical handling, and safety compliance

  • Promote continuous improvement among team members

4. Chemical and Inventory Management

  • Oversee the correct use and storage of cleaning chemicals

  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management

  • Enforce the correct application of cleaning materials in line with safety standards

5. Quality Control and Site Inspections

  • Perform regular site inspections to assess the quality of cleaning

  • Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary

  • Maintain performance records of cleaning staff
