Position Overview

Fidelity Cash Solutions is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage the full credit and collections function at its Midrand Head Office.

This role is responsible for ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, reducing bad debt exposure, maintaining healthy cash flow, and strengthening customer relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, billing, and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and compliance with internal financial controls.

This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals with strong reconciliation skills and experience in accounts receivable, debt collection, and credit risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full credit control functions, including debt collection, reconciliations, and account monitoring
  • Monitor overdue accounts and proactively follow up via phone, email, or meetings
  • Prepare and submit accurate credit control and receivables reports
  • Allocate and reconcile incoming payments within the accounting system
  • Resolve invoice, statement, and payment queries professionally
  • Maintain updated client records and contract documentation
  • Escalate high-risk accounts to management to mitigate bad debt exposure
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline invoicing and collections
  • Support month-end closing processes and respond to audit queries
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit control policies and financial procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Recognised Credit Control qualification (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control and account reconciliation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • SAP experience will be advantageous
  • Clear criminal and credit record (pre-employment screening applies)
  • Fluent in English
  • Own reliable transport
