Position Overview

Motus Corporation is seeking an experienced Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to lead and optimise used vehicle sales operations at Kia South Africa (IMFRG Silverlakes) in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring pre-owned vehicle sales processes to maximise profitability, enhance service delivery, and ensure compliance with governance and OEM standards.

This is a senior automotive sales leadership role ideal for professionals with a proven track record in dealership management and high-volume vehicle sales environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and implement end-to-end pre-owned vehicle sales processes
  • Define, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Track performance against operational and sales targets, adjusting strategies where required
  • Manage governance, compliance, and risk mitigation within the sales department
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements including FICA, POPIA, and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
  • Oversee digital and social media sales content in line with OEM and organisational standards
  • Manage vehicle stock in accordance with OEM, importer, and company policies
  • Structure and negotiate sales deals to maximise profitability
  • Manage budgets, rebates, and financial reporting, ensuring variance control
  • Build and maintain strong OEM, importer, and customer relationships
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through service excellence
  • Lead CRM processes to improve customer engagement and sales conversion
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric sales culture

Minimum Requirements

  • Higher Certificate or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificate in Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the motor sales industry
  • At least 3 years’ supervisory or management experience
  • Proven experience managing a sales floor of 20–30 units
  • Strong knowledge of automotive dealership operations and governance
