Position Overview

Auto Pedigree is seeking a Sales Representative: Vehicles to join its dealership in Tzaneen, Limpopo, on a permanent basis. This entry-level sales role is ideal for energetic, confident individuals who are passionate about sales, customer engagement, and achieving targets.

The primary purpose of this role is to achieve vehicle sales targets while actively promoting the Auto Pedigree brand. The position requires a proactive sales approach, including sourcing new customers, managing leads, conducting test drives, and closing deals.

Purpose of the Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving vehicle sales performance by actively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and delivering professional sales solutions.

The role focuses on growing the customer base, maintaining existing relationships, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to achieve set targets
Develop new business opportunities and identify additional revenue streams
Drive specific strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base
Demonstrate full commitment to achieving sales growth through proactive prospecting

Product Knowledge and Customer Engagement

Develop a strong understanding of vehicles, including features, capabilities, and benefits
Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring licences and documentation are collected according to best practices
Negotiate terms of sale and successfully close deals
Manage customer expectations to ensure effective and professional service delivery

Showroom and Brand Representation

Assist with the setup and maintenance of showroom displays
Represent the Auto Pedigree brand professionally at all times
Ensure customer escalations are managed effectively and feedback is provided where required

Administration and Compliance

Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and timeously
Maintain compliance with dealership and retail industry requirements
Support internal processes that contribute to smooth sales operations

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Grade 12

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ customer service and sales experience with a proven sales track record
Relevant automotive or retail industry experience is desirable

Additional Requirements

Code 08 unendorsed driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Computer literacy
Basic understanding of compliance within the retail industry is an advantage
Knowledge of the area’s most spoken languages is advantageous
Understanding of Auto Pedigree’s products and services is desirable

Important Note: The successful candidate may be required to work weekends and shifts.
