Position Overview: Travel Nail Technician
The Travel Nail Technician will:

Travel between various Dis-Chem salon locations in Johannesburg

Build and maintain a loyal clientele base

Promote nail treatments and retail beauty products

Achieve monthly treatment and product sales targets

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Treatment Excellence

Deliver high-quality manicures and pedicures

Apply gel and acrylic systems using correct techniques

Identify nail contraindications before treatment

Ensure new customers complete customer cards

Provide professional nail care advice
Sales & Target Management

Meet monthly treatment and retail product targets

Conduct monthly promotions
-
Drive awareness of Dis-Chem nail services
-
Plan daily treatment schedules to maximise productivity
Reporting & Administration

Submit accurate monthly performance reports

Report customer compliments and complaints
-
Adhere strictly to service payment procedures
Stock & Merchandising Control

Manage stock levels in line with Dis-Chem procedures
-
Report damaged, expired, or short stock

Ensure effective merchandising and promotional displays
Minimum Requirements
Essential
-
Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
-
Nail Technician Certificate (Gel and Acrylic)
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional nail or beauty salon
-
Willing and able to work retail hours
-
South African citizen
-
Clear criminal and credit record
Special Conditions of Employment

Valid driver’s license and reliable transport OR reside close to store

Physically fit to perform manicures and pedicures

Flexible to travel between salon locations
