Grain Field Chickens (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of VKB Group, operates in the integrated broiler industry with a poultry processing facility in Reitz. The company offers graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience within the agricultural sector.
Minimum Requirements
✔ TVET College N4–N6 Occupational Certificate: Poultry Farmer (NQF 5)
OR
✔ Diploma in Agriculture – Animal Production (NQF 5)
✔ Must require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) / in-service training
✔ Must not have previously completed an internship or learnership
✔ Computer literate in Microsoft Office
✔ Afrikaans communication skills will be an advantage
✔ Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Agri Administration Department with daily tasks
• Manage feed orders, forecasts, and invoices
• Assist with veterinary and medication orders
• Maintain hygiene registers and lab test records
• Support logistics and operational documentation
• Assist with FSSC food safety systems and reporting
• Handle document control and administrative records
• Support quality testing such as water, swab, and lab results
