Job Overview

The Branch Marketer is responsible for selling the organisation’s merchandise, marketing agricultural products, and maintaining stock availability for customers.

This role involves working closely with farmers and retail customers to promote products such as:

• Seeds
• Fertilizers
• Crops and commodities
• Animal feed
• Water systems
• Packaging steel
• Fencing materials
• Building supplies

The successful candidate will also assist with stock control, logistics coordination, and customer service at the retail branch.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

• Market and sell agricultural merchandise to customers
• Promote products according to company targets
• Build strong relationships with farmers and clients
• Provide product information and recommendations

Stock Management

• Manage stock control and maintain inventory levels
• Place stock orders when required
• Receive and verify incoming stock
• Ensure accurate storage and stock organisation

Customer Service

• Provide excellent service to walk-in customers
• Assist clients via phone and email
• Handle customer enquiries professionally
• Resolve customer concerns when necessary

Logistics & Administration

• Perform administrative duties such as:
  • GRV processing
  • Filing
  • Invoicing
• Calculate cutting lists according to customer requirements
• Measure spaces to design effective storage solutions
• Assist with general branch logistics tasks

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Customer service and marketing orientation
• Team-player mindset
• Willingness to undergo continuous training
