Job Overview

The Branch Marketer will be responsible for marketing and selling the organisation’s merchandise while ensuring that stock is effectively managed and available for customers.

The role focuses on agricultural and retail products such as:

• Seeds
• Fertilizers
• Crops and commodities
• Animal feed
• Water systems
• Packaging steel
• Fencing materials
• Building materials

The successful candidate will also assist with stock management, logistics coordination, and customer service within the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

• Sell and promote the organisation’s products to customers
• Market agricultural commodities effectively
• Achieve agreed sales targets
• Build strong relationships with farmers and clients

Stock Management

• Maintain stock control and inventory levels
• Place stock orders when necessary
• Receive incoming stock and ensure accuracy
• Create effective storage capacity based on client needs

Customer Service

• Provide high-quality service to walk-in customers
• Assist customers via telephone and email
• Handle client enquiries professionally

Logistics & Administration

• Assist with logistics coordination
• Perform administrative duties such as:
  • GRV processing
  • Filing
  • Invoicing
• Calculate cutting lists based on client requirements
• Measure spaces to design effective storage solutions
• Perform additional job-related tasks when required

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Customer service and marketing orientation
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to undergo continuous training
