📌 Job Overview
Signature Cosmetics is seeking a Second In Charge to assist in managing the store at Rail Park Mall. This role supports the store manager by supervising staff, driving sales, and ensuring customers receive an excellent retail experience.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
👥 Team Supervision
- Provide guidance and supervision to the store team
- Train employees on product knowledge, selling techniques, and store standards
- Lead by example and motivate staff to meet sales targets
🛍 Customer Experience
- Create a welcoming and personalized shopping environment
- Promote beauty and skincare products to customers
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times
📊 Sales & Store Operations
- Drive store sales and turnover
- Maintain visual merchandising standards
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked
📦 Stock & Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and manage shrinkage
- Investigate stock variances and report issues
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled
💳 Compliance & Procedures
- Follow point-of-sale and banking procedures
- Ensure store operations follow company policies and standards
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience supervising a small retail team
- Passion for cosmetics, beauty, and retail
- Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible retail hours
- Ability to stand for long periods
