Position Overview
TWK Agri is seeking a Marketer (Input Products) to join its Trade Division in the Midlands region of KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional passionate about agriculture sales jobs and farm input marketing careers.
The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with farmers and stakeholders, provide expert product advice, and monitor market trends. The role directly contributes to achieving sales targets, growing the client base, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance on agricultural input products to meet customer needs
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and support divisional growth objectives
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure client approval
- Up-sell and cross-sell products to existing customers
- Contact prospective customers and communicate TWK Agri products and services
- Conduct daily client visits to key and potential customers
- Expand the TWK Agri client base through strategic marketing and outreach
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, or Sales (advantageous)
- AVCASA certificate (preferred)
- BASOS certificate (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in sales and marketing of agricultural inputs
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a results-driven approach
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08) and willingness to travel
