Position Overview

Multiform Human Development is currently seeking a Key Accounts Assistant based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role provides strategic and operational support to the Key Account Manager while helping maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth client communication, coordinating merchandising activities, and supporting the execution of sales and marketing strategies across the cosmetics and beauty product portfolio.

This position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, proactive, and results-driven with experience in retail account management, operations coordination, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

The Key Accounts Assistant will support the account management team by ensuring efficient client service and operational coordination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and meeting materials for stakeholders
  • Supporting the Key Account Manager in managing client relationships
  • Expanding relationships with existing clients by proposing effective solutions
  • Monitoring sales performance and tracking key account metrics
  • Monitoring inventory levels and promotional effectiveness
  • Maintaining accurate records of account activities within the CRM system
  • Ensuring correct products and services are delivered to clients on time
  • Preparing progress reports and sales forecasts for stakeholders
  • Coordinating merchandising activities and in-store promotions
  • Ensuring optimal product placement and brand visibility in retail stores
  • Supporting execution of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives

Minimum Requirements

Candidates applying for this opportunity should meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license
  • Own reliable transport
  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Business Management
    • Marketing
    • Or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an account management or sales support role
  • Experience within the retail industry
  • Experience in the cosmetic or beauty industry will be an added advantage
