Position Overview

The Driver is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transport services for students, staff, and school-related operations. This role also involves basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and assisting with miscellaneous school tasks as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transport students and staff safely according to school schedules
  • Perform daily vehicle checks, cleaning, fueling, and basic maintenance
  • Assist with miscellaneous school duties as required
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability at all times
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and management
  • Contribute positively to the school environment and teamwork initiatives

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (Code EB) with valid PDP
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in driving within a similar environment

  • Excellent eyesight and attention to safety
  • Punctual, responsible, reliable, and energetic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime and as part of a team
