Position Overview

The Sales Representative – Vehicles is responsible for achieving sales targets, promoting the Auto Pedigree brand, and creating exceptional experiences for customers. The role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, target-driven, and enjoy working in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Management

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Promote and represent Auto Pedigree vehicles and services
  • Conduct test drives and collect necessary documentation per best practices
  • Develop the business by identifying new revenue streams and opportunities
  • Drive strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure effective service delivery
  • Ensure prompt escalation of customer complaints and provide feedback

Product Knowledge & Marketing

  • Develop in-depth understanding of vehicle features, capabilities, and characteristics
  • Assist with showroom setup, displays, and promotional activities
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • Report on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges to management

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service and sales experience, preferably in automotive retail
  • Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of local languages and Auto Pedigree products is advantageous
  • Willingness to work weekends and shifts
