Position Overview

The Mathematics Teacher will deliver exceptional instruction to intersen-phase students, nurturing their foundational understanding and guiding them toward critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. This role is ideal for passionate educators who are future-focused, student-centered, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with curricula standards
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student performance and progress
  • Manage student behavior effectively, creating a positive learning environment
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Pinnacle College
  • Contribute to administrative tasks and school operations
  • Maintain health and safety compliance within the classroom
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community

Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) and PGCE or B.Ed. (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase)
  • Registration with SACE (South African Council for Educators)
  • Police clearance
  • 2–5 years of teaching experience in a relevant phase
  • Computer and digital literacy
  • First Aid certification is an advantage
