Position Overview
The Merchandiser ensures that products are efficiently stocked and displayed to maximize sales and improve the shopping experience. This role requires administrative skills, inventory control knowledge, and proactive customer-focused actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient stock levels to maintain maximum product display
- Manage inventory and stock replenishment for assigned products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail staff and management
- Monitor product placement and presentation according to brand standards
- Provide accurate reporting on stock levels, product displays, and sales trends
- Administer day-to-day merchandising tasks and maintain proper documentation
- Maintain and update product knowledge to support sales and marketing initiatives
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a retail environment
- Strong decision-making skills
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Administration and reporting skills
